So glad you’re here!

This is my first blog–I have been resisting for a long time in the name of busy-ness but a friend of mine inspired me with her own blog.  She is the single mother of three and far busier than I have ever been a day in my life!  So here I am.  I have three children who I have, after a five-year absence, recently begun homeschooling again. As I compose this intro, my 17-year-old is in his room playing the theme from “Zelda” (a favorite video game) on his guitar, my 13-year-old Hawaii-obsessed, animal lover is waiting for me to make a quick exit off the computer so she can write her next installment of Polynesian Marine Animals Plus and my 5-year-old–yes you read that right: 5 not 15–is looking for opportunities to evade school and do as much hard playing as he can. Who needs to learn how to read?:)  So amid my sweet husband, who is currently working swing shift, my 3 scholars and a sweet miniature schnauzer, Lucy, you will find me sometimes escaping for a few minutes of peace with a good book (or at the computer blogging?).  Not long though, before someone comes knocking on my door.  I wouldn’t have it any other way.  My family is everything to me.  I love this amazing life God has blessed me with surrounded by my very best friends.
